Dr Nehal Patel is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon practising in Surat, Gujarat, with over 15 years of experience. His special interests are TMJ disorders — including arthroscopy and total joint replacement — orthognathic (corrective jaw) surgery, and cleft lip & palate repair.

He leads the maxillofacial department at nuFace Maxillofacial & Dental Hospital, Surat, where care begins with diagnosis and planning — surgery is recommended only when it is genuinely the right option.

His published research in the Journal of Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery includes work on total TMJ joint replacement and distraction osteogenesis, and he is an active member of the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India (AOMSI).
